KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa. – APRIL 27, 2020 – ImageFIRST Healthcare Laundry Specialists has announced a new partnership with Hartford HealthCare to provide linen and laundry service to a 600-bed contingency hospital in the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford, Conn.
ImageFIRST New England worked diligently with the Army Corps of Engineers and Hartford HealthCare to quickly implement the program at this temporary medical facility.
The field hospital is one of many that are opening throughout the country to prepare for a potential influx of patients from the novel coronavirus. The Army Corps of Engineers organized the space in the Convention Center to include food preparation, sanitation, nursing stations, linen, biohazard rooms, bottled oxygen and more.
ImageFIRST is providing Hartford HealthCare all the linen, scrubs, storage racks, hampers, mops, and carts needed, as well as the ongoing laundering, pick-up and delivery of linen.
